This Privacy Policy describes how Bulk SEO Agent (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information when installed and used by a merchant on Shopify.

Information We Collect

• Shop information: your shop domain and app installation/session data.
• App settings: your preferences (for example, generated content placement and any custom prompt you provide).
• Generated SEO tracking: generated-field metadata and timestamps indicating which SEO elements were modified.
• Billing/usage: your subscription status, billing period boundaries, and credit balances and period boundaries for credits.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App is not intended to collect or store customer personal data (for example, customer names, emails, addresses, or order details).

How We Use Information

• Provide the App’s features (SEO generation, review queue, and status display).
• Operate and maintain the App, including authentication and security.
• Provide support and communicate with you about the App.

Third-Party Services

• Shopify: the App uses Shopify Admin APIs to read and update your products and collections.
• OpenAI: when you generate content, relevant product/collection fields (such as titles and descriptions) are sent to OpenAI to produce SEO text.
• Tawk: when you use the support chat widget in the app, chat messages and related support information are processed by Tawk to help us respond.

Data Retention and Deletion

App data is retained only as needed to provide the App’s functionality. When the App is uninstalled, or when Shopify sends a shop redact request, the App deletes stored shop data (including sessions, settings, billing/credits, and SEO tracking records).

If you cancel your subscription, credit-related billing metadata may be retained for a short period and deleted after 30 days from cancellation.
